Oddly enough, there's a member of the feldgrau Forum who DID publish a fictional story of SS-activities in Poland and the East...
Steve Campbell did it PROPERLY. He spent long bloody years researching what he could - and realised that the paucity of information - good, reliable corroborated data - prevented him doing what he wanted to to do. So he wrote a fictional "recreation" of events - for he wanted to tell the story and that's the only option he was left with.
You can see his book HERE...

...and he fronts up about it, that its ONLY a recreation. And he gets THREE excellent reviews, one from Tony Munoz who has published a whole list of books and monographs on Second World War subjects.
But it's the FOURTH review that's MOST interesting...
"I knew this book was fiction. I found it to be a disappointment and was deeply disturbed that Stephen Campbell or any person for that matter, would invent such a heinous story. The conversations rendered throughout the book are merely speculation as are the details of the gruesome actions committed. It's devastatingly sad that the Holocaust took place. It's also disturbing that someone would author a fictional story about it for the sole reason of reaping profit.
A couple other notes worth mentioning is that the book itself is poorly manufactured and bound. The cover and pages curl with normal use. Finally, the editing was marginal and the research it seems; was cursory at best. "
AND WHO WROTE THIS???
"Susan" - Paul K. Harker. The SS war criminal-defending, Holocaust-Denying author who DID EXACTLY WHAT HE SAYS HE FINDS DISTURBING when HE published "Directive 19" - and shed not a tear when he tried to take YOUR hard-earned cash...
The only disturbed thing around here is YOU...
